If you don't get the hang of it, just try Cinema 4D. It's quite simple to get into.

So I got the trial, And I'm extremely confused.....how do you animate?
Well, the first thing you need to learn, is modeling stuff and adding materials.
But you can try to animate, if you press a keyframe button to the right of the little timeline.
after effects is really powerful. looks like you're getting a good grasp on everything pretty quickly. i love the blue simon text short a lot but its not aligned horizontally at the end! :(

But it took about 2-3 hours to render, so I didn't do it agian...
